The audio launch of Vijay Antony’s Salim was attended by a spate of celebrities from the tinsel town including filmmakers Bharathi Raja, Bala, Jayam Ravi and actors Manoj, Parthiban, Shaam and Jayam Ravi. Shaam and Jayam Ravi while speaking at the event expressed their willingness to act in Bala’s film and politely sought a chance to the ace filmmaker.
Bala promptly responded to them and said, “I saw Shaam’s commitment in his recent film, 6 Candles. And I was also impressed with Jayam Ravi’s diligence in Nimirndhu Nil. I will make use of their talents at an appropriate time.” Salim is directed by NV Nirmal Kumar and Aksha Pardasany plays the female lead opposite Vijay Antony.
