Director Ameer is gearing up for his next political drama titled MGR Pandiyan, to be produced and directed by Adham Bhava. Ameer plays the lead role in the film and actress Chandini has been signed as the lead heroine.
Veteran actors Anandaraj, Ponvannan, Kanja Karuppu, Imman Annachi, along with Mahanathi Shankar, Raj Kapoor, Kasali, Raja Simman, Bava Lakshmanan, Sampath Ram, Vincent Roy, Sevvalai, Sujatha, Jeevitha, Saravana Sakthi form the supporting cast. The music for the film is composed by Vidyasagar with lyrics by Vairamuthu and Pa. Vijay.
