Diesel Teaser out now; Movie release date confirmed for Diwali

Harish Kalyan unleashes action in Diesel teaser; movie set for a grand Diwali release with high-octane drama and thrills.

After much anticipation, the action-packed journey of Harish Kalyan’s long-awaited film Diesel takes a thrilling turn today. On the festive occasion of Vinayakar Chathurthi, the makers have unveiled the powerful teaser, finally giving fans a glimpse into the star’s transformation into a full-fledged action hero.

Though two songs – “Beer Song” (released in 2023) and “Dillubaru Raja” (sung by STR earlier this year), have already been released, full-fledged promotional content had been minimal until now. Outdoor campaigns began rolling in March, but fans had been waiting for a major reveal and the teaser delivers just that.

In Diesel, Harish Kalyan is seen in a never before seen intense action role, taking on forces of corruption and power. The teaser focuses entirely on Harish’s character, with glimpses of high-stakes stunts, gritty visuals, and an atmosphere of tension and rebellion. The antagonist’s identity remains unrevealed, but it’s confirmed that Vinay Rai will be playing the film’s menacing villain.

Athulya Ravi plays Harish’s romantic interest in the film. The ensemble cast also includes notable names like Sai Kumar, Ananya, Karunaas, Ramesh Thilak, Kaali Venkat, and Vivek Prasanna, promising a solid supporting lineup.

Directed by Shanmugam Muthusamy, with music composed by Dhibu Ninan Thomas, Diesel is jointly produced by Third Eye Entertainment and SP Cinemas. The film follows the back-to-back success streak of Harish Kalyan, fresh from the national award-winning Paking and the fan-favorite Lubber Pandhu.

Now, with the teaser out and buzz building, Diesel is officially locked for a grand worldwide release on October 17th, coinciding with the Diwali weekend. The film joins a high-stakes box office race alongside Pradeep Ranganathan’s LIK & Dude and Bison Kaalamaadan from Mari Selvaraj and Dhruv Vikram.

Get ready! Harish Kalyan is fired up, and Diesel is ready to ignite this Diwali.
