Dhanush’s Pattas to lock horns with Rajinikanth’s Darbar for Pongal 2020?
The grapevine in Kollywood is abuzz with reports that Dhanush’s Pattas is eyeing a Pongal 2020 release. If it turns out to be true, the film will lock horns with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Darbar which is already confirmed for Pongal. An official announcement is awaited.
Directed by Kodi helmer Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Pattas has Mehreen Pirzada, who last seen in Suseenthiran’s Nenjil Thunivirundhaal and has been part of super-hit films in Telugu recently including F2: Fun and Frustration, paired opposite Dhanush.
Dhanush plays a dual role of both father and son in the movie. Sneha is paired opposite the elderly Dhanush in the film and actor Naveen Chandra, who was seen in films such as Sarabham, plays the baddie.
