Dhanush – Rajkumar Periasamy movie D55 gets new production partners!

It has now been officially confirmed that Dhanush’s anticipated project, tentatively titled D55, is undergoing a significant change in production. Initially announced towards the end of 2024 under the Gopuram Films banner, the film will now be jointly produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Bollywood based RTake Studios, marking a notable collaboration across industries.

Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, who earned widespread acclaim for Amaran, the project has already generated strong anticipation among fans and industry circles. In a recent interaction, the director revealed that D55 is currently in its pre-production phase, with groundwork progressing steadily. He further shared that the team is planning to commence filming in approximately four to five months, indicating that preparations are moving at a brisk pace.

While official announcements regarding the cast are yet to be made, speculation around the film’s leading lady continues to gain momentum. Names such as Pooja Hegde and Sai Pallavi have been frequently mentioned in industry discussions, suggesting that the makers are aiming for a strong and impactful casting choice.
