Dhanush plays a North Madras tailor in Maari?

The first look of Dhanush – Balaji Mohans’s Maari was released few days back and it was so unlike the previous two films of the director. Sources say Dhanush plays the role of a tailor in the film who hails from north madras. The film is said to be completely different Balaji Mohan’s Kaadhalali Sodhapuvadhu Eppadi and Vaayai Moodi Pesavum.

Jointly produced by Radhika Sarathukumar’s Magic Frames and Dhanush’s Wunderbar films, Maari has Kajal Aggarwal as female lead, Music by Anirudh and Cinematography by Om Prakash. The film went on the floors two days back in the city.
