Dhanush – Mari Selvaraj’s Karnan making video receives great response
The making video of Karnan starring Dhanush and directed by Mari Selvaraj was released to coincide with the occasion of the actor’s birthday yesterday and received a great response from netizens.
Pariyerum Perumal filmmaker Mari Selvaraj had cleared the air saying that Karnan with Dhanush is based on Kodiyankulam riots.
“In fact, Karnan is not based on any caste riots from south Tamil Nadu. The film is a fictional story but will carry some real-life incidents. It’s about the story of the people living in a village,” Mari Selvaraj had said.
Karnan also stars Rajisha Vijayan and Lal in important roles. Santhosh Narayana composes the music for the project, which is bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu’s V Creations.
