Dhanush makes us groove to the roots with Enjaami Thandhaane, the 2nd song from Idli Kadai

Dhanush’s soulful new single “Enjaami Thandhaane” from Idli Kadai celebrates roots, rain, and rhythm - set to GV Prakash’s earthy tune.

Marking the auspicious occasion of Vinayakar Chathurthi, the second single from Dhanush’s much-anticipated directorial venture Idli Kadai, titled “Enjaami Thandhaane” has been released today, stirring excitement among fans and music lovers alike.

Penned and sung by Dhanush himself, Enjaami Thandhaane is a heartfelt tribute to the soil, spirit, and celebration of Tamil culture. Backed by GV Prakash Kumar’s refreshing and earthy composition, the song blends simplicity with an infectious charm that’s bound to resonate with audiences who cherish rooted, organic music.

From the catchy lyrical cascade: “கேக்க வச்சான்… எழுத வச்சான்… பாக்க வச்சான்… படிக்க வச்சான்… மேகம் வச்சான்… மழைய வச்சான்… விளைய வச்சானே…”, Dhanush once again proves his knack for weaving poetry out of everyday life and emotion.

Idli Kadai features a powerhouse ensemble cast including Arun Vijay, Nithya Menen, Rajkiran, Samuthirakani, and a special appearance by Parthiban. Dhanush is expected to play Sivanesan, the humble owner of a small-town eatery, Sivanesan Idli Kadai – though the storyline remains tightly under wraps.

The film is produced by Dawn Pictures, Red Giant Movies, and Wunderbar Films, marking Dhanush’s fourth directorial venture after Power Paandi, Raayan, and NEEK. Set for a grand theatrical release on October 1st, Idli Kadai will make the most of the five-day Pooja holiday weekend, promising a flavorful slice of life, emotion, and celebration.
