It’s been a saddening situation to see the disastrous Gaja Cyclone having a raving impact on people and environment across Delta regions – Nagapattinam, Thiruvarur, Pudhukkottai, Dindugal, Trichy, Sivagangai, Ramanathapuram, Karur, and Cuddalore. The visuals involving them are heart-wrenching and it’s totally disastrous to see that the region of ‘Cavuery Bed’ that is the main source of food for the entire Tamil Nadu being affected.
In gesture of extending the needy help to the people across this Delta region, actor Sivakumar, Suriya, Karthi and Jyotika have together donated a sum of Rs 50 lakhs as relief fund through the NGOs in that respective areas, who will use it for the appropriate need and help of the people affected there.
Also, Vijay Sethupathi donated 25 lakh worth essentials and Sivakarthikeyan contributed 10 lakh to TN CM relief fund and 10 lakh worth essentials to the needy.
