CV Kumar’s multi-starrer 144 is a full-fledged comedy entertainer

Producer-distributor CV Kumar’s multi-starrer film 144 starring Mirchi Shiva and Ashok Selva is a full-length comedy entertainer. Directed by debutant filmmaker Manikandan, the film has Oviya and Shruti Ramakrishnan as female leads. While Oviya is paired with Shiva, Shruthi plays Ashok’s romantic interest. The film is set against the backdrop of Madurai, one of Kollywood’s most exploited towns.

Ashok Selvan essays the role of a car driver in the film. Ramadoss of Mundasupatti fame plays an important role. 144 is jointly produced by Thirukumaran Entertainment and Abi and Abi Pictures.
