Computerized ticketing likely to be implemented in TN from June 1st

To aid transparency in box-office figures, theater owners have reportedly agreed to Tamil Film Producers Council’s (TFPC) main demand of making all theaters implement computerized ticketing across the state.

Vishal has also called for a slash in the online ticketing fee charged on consumers. He has also demanded theaters to divide the ticket prices into three different categories for poor, middle class and upper-class people.

Vishal has also said producers will provide a mastered print to theater owners like before and that the projection charges should be taken care of by the theatre owners.

Meanwhile, FEFSI President RK Selvamani has requested the intervention of Tamil Nadu government to put an end to the stalemate, which has continued for nearly a month.
