Complaint lodged against Latha Rajinikanth

A complaint has been lodged with the Chennai Commissioner of Police by an advertising company Ad Bureau Advertising Private Company against Latha Rajinikanth and Murali Manohar of Media One Global, the producer of Kochadaiiyaan. The complaint says that according to an agreement sealed on April 25th, 2014, the lease rights for Kochadaiiyaan was sold to Ad Bureau Advertising Private Company. Apparenytly, the agreement was signed by Murali Manohar and guaranteed by Latha Rajinikanth.

But, the producers subsequently sold the film’s rights to Eros International and promised to repay the debt to Ad Bureau after the film’s release. “The mal intentions (sic) of willfully defrauding us has now become evident. The whole act has been cleverly orchestrated by using different producers to avoid guilt of association, but one that clearly indicates a white collar fraud owing to breach of contract and trust and obvious guilt of association. The repayment was due before the release of the film. But since they requested and promised to repay soon after the release, we agreed,” says the complaint.
