Marking the birthday of Vikram, the makers have officially announced his next project, which will be directed by Anand Shankar. The duo, who previously collaborated on Iru Mugan, are set to reunite for this upcoming venture, tentatively titled Chiyaan 63.
The film will be produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, with music composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Along with the announcement, the team unveiled a promo that hints at a stylish action entertainer, raising expectations among fans.
Interestingly, the promo suggests that Vikram will be seen in the role of a cook, blending an unconventional profession with high-octane action elements. The concept promises a unique mix of mass appeal and engaging storytelling, positioning the film as a full-fledged action feast for audiences.
On the technical front, cinematography will be handled by RD Rajasekhar, while production design is led by Rajeevan. Editing responsibilities have been entrusted to Raymond Derrick Crasta. The film’s shoot is currently underway, with the promo confirming the commencement of production through the tagline “Cooking starts now.”
It is worth noting that the project was earlier announced with director Bodi Rajkumar under Shanthi Talkies. However, the film has now undergone a complete shift in both banner and creative leadership, with the new team officially taking charge.
