Chimbu Devan is known for making films on different subjects but adheres to only one genre, comedy. He has fantasy-comedy, historical-comedy and also a cowboy-comedy to his credit. “You can even make any controversial story into a film with comedy. It’s a very effective genre when it comes to storytelling because it guarantees entertainment and can be used to address any story,” said Chimbu Devan.
And his Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum, all set for a release tomorrow is also a comedy with the concept revolving around ‘time’. “I addressed several sensitive issues in my films without ever trying to be controversial.
