Actor-producer Ravi Mohan’s upcoming film will no longer carry the title Bro Code, bringing an end to a prolonged legal tussle surrounding the name. The decision comes after the actor chose to withdraw legal proceedings and move forward with the project under a new title.
The film, which stars Ravi Mohan alongside SJ Suryah and Arjun Ashokan, had earlier run into trouble due to a trademark dispute over the title. A beverage company had raised objections, claiming rights over the name, leading to multiple legal developments across courts.
According to reports, the matter was eventually resolved through a settlement process. As part of the agreement, Ravi Mohan’s production house agreed to discontinue the use of the Bro Code title and remove it from promotional materials and digital assets connected to the film.
The actor has also withdrawn the case that was previously filed before the Madras High Court, signalling a closure to the dispute and allowing the film’s production and promotional plans to proceed without further legal hurdles.
Directed by Karthik Yogi, the film remains one of Ravi Mohan’s notable upcoming projects, featuring an ensemble cast and currently progressing towards release. While the makers are yet to officially announce the new title, further updates regarding the film are expected soon.
With the title issue now settled, the team is likely to shift focus back to marketing and release preparations, as audiences await the project’s fresh identity and official announcements in the coming weeks.
