“Big-hero films will not be allowed to dominate all screens in the same locality,” says Vishal

Actor Vishal has said that a big-hero film would not be allowed to dominate all screens in the same locality. He has also said that it’s neither a strike nor a shutdown, but a renovation time for the Tamil film industry.

Speaking to Times of India, Vishal has said, “From now on, there will be release regulation — be it for Rajini sir’s film or a newcomer’s film. We will not allow a single film to occupy most of the screens in the state. Let it release in one or two theatres in a locality.”

Vishal has also stressed that theater owners should computerize tickets and present the collection report to the distributor before the next show begins. He maintains that this will pave way for more transparency in the ticket prices and heroes will also get to know their box-office prowess.
