Bala’s Varma shooting underway in Chennai
The shooting of director Bala – Dhruv Vikram’s Varma, the official Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy, is currently underway in Chennai’s Semmozhi Poonga. Sources say the team will soon start the college portions with the heroine, who is yet to be officially announced.
Reports are albeit rife that Shriya Sharma will be playing the female lead. Shriya has already been seen as a child artist in many films including Silluna Oru Kadhal with Suriya and Jyothika. DOP Sukumar is handling the film’s cinematography.
