ATMUS acquires USA distribution rights of VIP & Madras

ATMUS Entertainment, leading distributor of Tamil movies in the USA has acquired the theatrical distribution rights for upcoming July releases of Dhanush starrer Velai Illa Pattathari (VIP) and Karthi starrer Madras.

VIP is Dhanush’s 25th film and it has the successful music combo of Anirudh and Dhanush who is reuniting after the magical Kolaveri music in their previous outing ‘3’. Dhanush is upbeat about this film where he is acting as an educated urban youth who finds it difficult to find a job. There is plenty of comedy in this film where comedian Vivek is joining hands with Dhanush again after their successful films like Padikkathavan and Uthama Puthiran. VIP Release confirmed on July 18th.

Madras is directed by ‘Attakathi’ fame Ranjith. Produced by Studio Green, it stars Karthi and Catherine Teresa. Music by Santosh Narayanan is a huge hit. The film shows different style of life in North Madras area. It is expected to give the much needed break for Karthi in his career. Madras is tentativelyscheduled for a release on July 25th.
