Now, the buzz has resurfaced and grown stronger, with social media speculations suggesting that the trio will appear as media reporters in a key sequence of the film.
Adding to the excitement, Bussy Anand, the General Secretary of Vijay’s political outfit Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam, is said to appear as a protestor in a specially crafted scene. The surprises don’t end there – music sensation Anirudh, who has previously made cameo appearances in films like Maari and Vettaiyan, will reportedly be seen dancing alongside Vijay in a high-energy song.
With the talkie portions wrapped up and post production in full swing, Jana Nayagan is locked for a massive worldwide release on January 9th, 2026, perfectly timed for the 10-day Pongal holiday season. Promotions are expected to kick off around Diwali and build momentum steadily from there.
