“Aranmanai 2 is a brand new script,” says Hansika

While the first look posters of Aranmanai 2 have already evoked curiosity among movie goers, Hansika has clarified the most important doubt about whether the story will take off from where Aranmanai ended or not. “All I can say is that the only thing common between the first part and the sequel will be Sundar sir and me. In short, it is a brand new script,” says Hansika who is currently busy with Jiiva’s Pokkiri Raja and the Tamil remake of Jolly LLB where she is paired opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin.

Directed by Sundar C, Aranmanai 2 features an ensemble cast of Siddharth, Trisha, Hansika and Ponam Bajwa in the lead roles. It has music by Hiphop Tamizha. Sri Thenandal Films, who has acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights, is planning to release the film for Pongal, 2016.
