Anbe Diana: Pari Elavazhagan announces title of his next directorial

Actor-director Pari Elavazhagan, known for his work in Jama, has announced the title of his upcoming film with *Ramya Ranganathan as Anbe Diana. The first look poster was released on Wednesday, revealing a quirky and visually engaging glimpse of the family entertainer.

The poster features Pari dressed as a groom in wedding attire stained with blood, juxtaposed with Ramya Ranganathan as a smiling bride holding a bouquet. The chaotic expressions and scattered objects around them tease the fun-filled, unpredictable tone of the film, suggesting a blend of comedy and drama rooted in familial relationships.

Anbe Diana also marks the return of actor-politician Roja to the big screen, adding further excitement to the project’s lineup. The film is being backed by Million Dollar Studios, known for Good Night and Tourist Family, in collaboration with Neo Castle Creations. Sathya Karikalan and Yuvaraj Ganesan are producing the venture.

Pari Elavazhagan has not only directed the film but also written its story and screenplay, and will be seen in the lead role. The ensemble cast includes Roja Selvamani, Chetan, Parithabangal Gopi, Ismath Banu, Sudharsan Gandhi, and Cell Murugan in key roles.

On the technical side, Anbe Diana features music composed by Bharath Sankar, who recently scored films such as Mandela and Maaveeran. Shelley R Calist handles cinematography, with editing by Partha.

Set against the backdrop of Chennai, the film is currently in post-production and is being positioned as a family entertainer with broad appeal. The makers have indicated plans for a summer theatrical release, though a specific date has yet to be announced.
