Amala Paul confirms signing new film

Amala Paul was last seen in a brief but important role in Parthiepan’s Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam. She has not signed any new film in Tamil after her wedlock with director Vijay last year. The latest update is the Velai Illa Pattathari actress has signed a new Tamil film, though she remained tight-lipped to divulge more details about it.

“I listened to a script recently and found it very interesting. The production house has to come up with the details. Henceforth, I will be a little choosy in signing up for films as I want to take up only those scripts that really demand my presence and have scope for performance,” says Amala. Meanwhile, her Malayalam film Mili where she plays the titular role hits screens today.
