AK65 Buzz: Ajith – Director Siva reunion could happen after Dare Devil

Ajith Kumar and Director Siva could reunite for AK65, with the filmmaker reportedly preparing a mass-masala story packed with sentiment and emotions.

A new buzz surrounding Ajith Kumar’s AK65 suggests that Director Siva has prepared a commercial mass-masala subject for the actor. The film is said to be set against a village backdrop and is expected to blend action, sentiment and emotions.

According to the current buzz, Siva has reportedly readied a story that suits Ajith’s image while focusing on family emotions and rural elements. The project is also expected to have a relatively controlled and feasible production cost. Vels International is said to be among the possible production banners, although there is no official confirmation regarding the same.

If the project materialises, AK65 could potentially become Ajith’s immediate next film after Daredevil. However, the actor’s current priority remains Daredevil, which is being directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The shoot is expected to commence in September.

Ajith Kumar and Siva have previously collaborated on four films. Their combination delivered Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam and Viswasam. Among these outings, Veeram, Vedalam and Viswasam emerged as major commercial successes. Given their successful track record, another collaboration between the actor and filmmaker has naturally created interest among fans.

For now, the AK65 reunion remains unconfirmed. However, the buzz suggests that an Ajith-Siva combination could be in the works. More clarity is expected once the actor’s immediate commitments are officially announced.

Meanwhile, Ajith’s racing documentary, reportedly titled Gladiators, is also expected to be released in October. The project is helmed by Vijay, who previously directed Ajith in Kireedom. If the latest reports turn out to be true, Ajith could have an interesting line-up of projects following Dare Devil.

With Dare Devil set to take priority, AK65 is currently only a buzz and should be treated as an unconfirmed development. An official announcement from the makers will be required to establish the project, production house and timeline.
