In a candid revelation, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan shared his thoughts about his much-discussed cameo in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie. Speaking about the experience in a recent press interaction, Aamir admitted that the role lacked clarity and purpose.
“I only did the role for Rajini sir. But honestly, I myself don’t know what my character really did in the film. It was like I just walked in, delivered two dialogues, and disappeared. The character had no purpose and was poorly written,” he confessed. Aamir further added that he wasn’t creatively involved in Coolie and was unaware of how the sequence would shape up. “I thought it would be a fun little cameo, but it wasn’t like that. Acting in this film was definitely a mistake. Going forward, I’ll be much more careful with such choices,” he said.
Despite the buzz surrounding his presence, the actor’s statements have stirred conversations among fans and industry circles alike. Meanwhile, Coolie, which opened to massive hype and celebrated Rajinikanth’s iconic charisma, is now nearing the end of its theatrical run. The film has already begun streaming on Prime Video, marking the next phase of its journey.
Adding to the chatter, reports are also doing the rounds that the anticipated Aamir Khan – Lokesh Kanagaraj superhero flick has been shelved. Though it may be too early to confirm anything, fans are eagerly waiting to hear what Aamir or Lokesh have to officially say about it.
