“Purampokku will be an earnest film in Tamil cinema”
Actor Shaam who essays the role of a police officer in SP Jananathan’s Purampokku says it will be an earnest attempt in Tamil cinema. Shaam is hopeful of reviving his career with this specially etched role. “Jananathan sir has a lot of concern regarding my career. And, it’s quite evident in the role he has given me in Purampokku. Only Jananathan sir can pull off a film like this,” says Shaam.
Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Purampokku is a multi-starrer flick featuring Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Karthika Nair and Shaam in the lead. The film is slated for release in the first week of April.
