Udhaynidhi Stalin next with Thirukumaran titled ‘Gethu’

A film poster titled Gethu featuring Udhaynidhi Stalin has been spreading virally on the internet since yesterday. It also has cast and crew details – Amy Jackson as heroine, DOP Sukumar of Kumki fame, Music by Imman, direction by Thirukumaran of Maankarate fame and production by Udhay’s homebanner Red Giant Movies. The poster also blatantly resembled the popular Hollywood film The Bourne Legacy. 

Later, Udhayanidhi had to intervene to clarify that the project is true and the poster is not an official but a fan-made one. “#gethu is the title of my next film wit thirukumaran..but the poster is jus a fan made one..not official,” tweeted Udhayanidhi. Udhayanidhi is currently acting in Jagadish’s Nanbenda, which is on the brink of completion and has signed director Ahmed’s Idhayam Murali where he is most likely to be seen opposite Hansika Motwani. More details about Gethu will be finalized in coming days and made official.
