Suriya’s Scene introduces Naslen in a dark avatar as Eswaran
Suriya shares Naslen’s intense first look as Eswaran in Scene, offering a glimpse of the Malayalam actor’s darker role in Jithu Madhavan’s upcoming Tamil film.
Suriya has introduced Malayalam actor Naslen as Eswaran in his upcoming film Scene, directed by Jithu Madhavan. The character reveal offers a glimpse of a darker side of the actor, who is known for his youthful and relatable roles in Malayalam cinema. The film marks Naslen’s debut in Tamil cinema.
The makers released a special character promo featuring Naslen in an intense new avatar. In the video, he appears calm and detached while carrying out violent acts. His unsettling expressions and composed behavior create a chilling impression. The promo presents Eswaran as a dangerous individual who shows little emotion, offering a sharp contrast to the characters Naslen has played in his previous films.
Suriya shared the character reveal on social media and welcomed Naslen to Tamil cinema. He expressed his pride in introducing the actor through Scene and presented the character as Eswaran. The announcement has generated interest among fans, especially because it showcases Naslen in a role that differs significantly from his familiar screen image.
The film also features Suriya as DSP Inbaraj, an unconventional police officer. An earlier glimpse introduced his distinctive approach to police work and hinted at the unusual cases he handles. The newly released promo adds another layer to the film by introducing a disturbing character who could play an important part in the story. However, the makers have kept the film’s central plot details under wraps.
Scene is written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, who previously earned attention for Romancham and Aavesham. The film brings the filmmaker to Tamil cinema for the first time. It also stars Nazriya Nazim, Anandraj, Lal and Raj Priyan in important roles. Sushin Shyam, who has collaborated with Jithu on his earlier films, has composed the music, marking his Tamil cinema debut as a composer.
Produced by Suriya and Jyotika under Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment, Scene is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6, coinciding with Diwali. With Suriya’s unconventional cop character and Naslen’s menacing transformation, the film has added another intriguing element to its promotional campaign. The character reveal has also raised curiosity about the dynamic between the two actors when the film arrives in theatres.
