Dare Devil Shooting: Ajith Kumar’s next with Adhik to begin in November

The much-awaited Dare Devil shooting is set to begin on November 2, 2026, with Ajith Kumar reuniting with director Adhik Ravichandran after their recent collaboration, Good Bad Ugly. The makers announced the filming date along with a new first-look poster featuring Ajith in a stylish avatar.
Director Adhik Ravichandran confirmed that the film will go on floors on November 2. He shared the update on social media along with the new poster, describing the announcement as an advance birthday gift from Ajith Kumar. The poster shows Ajith seated on a chair while holding dice, offering a glimpse of the character and the film’s visual style.
Dare Devil marks Ajith and Adhik Ravichandran’s second consecutive collaboration. Their previous film, Good Bad Ugly, was released in 2025. The upcoming project is expected to explore a different space, with earlier reports suggesting that the director is planning a family-oriented entertainer with several surprises.
The film is being produced by Shalini Ajithkumar under the Bravehearts Production banner. This project marks her debut as a producer. The production announcement also adds another interesting aspect to the reunion between Ajith and Adhik.
Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in as the music composer. The film marks his reunion with Ajith after Vidaamuyarchi and also marks his first collaboration with Adhik Ravichandran.
Several members of the Good Bad Ugly technical team are returning for Dare Devil. Abinandhan Ramanujam is handling cinematography, while Vijay Velukutty is taking care of the editing. Supreme Sundar has been brought on board as the stunt choreographer, with Kalyan Master handling the dance choreography. Anu Vardhan is designing the costumes, while Suren is responsible for sound design.
The announcement comes as Ajith prepares to return to cinema after spending considerable time focusing on his racing commitments. He recently participated in international endurance racing events as part of the Ajith Kumar Racing Team.
