Shivarajkumar on Pradeep Ranganathan: “There is a Dhanush in you”

Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar praises Pradeep Ranganathan’s acting and filmmaking abilities, comparing his talent with Dhanush and expressing admiration for the young star.

Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar has heaped praise on actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan, expressing his admiration for the young filmmaker-actor and his work. The veteran actor also drew an interesting comparison between Pradeep and Dhanush while speaking at a recent event.

Shivarajkumar attended the Ananda Vikatan Awards, where he presented an award to filmmaker Abishan Jeevinth for his directorial debut Tourist Family. The film received strong appreciation from audiences and emerged as one of the notable Tamil releases of the previous year.

During his interaction, Shivarajkumar revealed that he had watched Pradeep Ranganathan’s films and had become an admirer of his work. He praised Pradeep’s performances and screen presence, while drawing parallels between the young actor and Dhanush.

Speaking about Pradeep, Shivarajkumar expressed his admiration for the actor-director and stated that he follows his films closely. His appreciation comes at a time when Pradeep has established himself as one of Tamil cinema’s prominent young faces.

Pradeep has built a strong following through films such as Love Today, Dragon and Dude. His ability to combine acting with a youthful style of storytelling has helped him create a distinct space among the current generation of Tamil actors.

Interestingly, Shivarajkumar is currently associated with a Tamil project involving filmmaker Gowtham Sivaraman, who previously worked as a co-director on Tourist Family. The actor is said to be playing Abishan’s on-screen father in the upcoming project.

Shivarajkumar noted that he enjoyed Gowtham’s script and described his experience working with Abishan as a memorable one.
