Jailer 2 and OM release dates likely to change? Fresh buzz surrounds festival releases
Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 and Dhanush's OM are reportedly considering separate festival releases, though an official confirmation is still awaited.

According to the latest buzz, the makers of Jailer 2 are now considering a grand Navaratri release in October. Reports further suggest that discussions have been initiated with the OM team to postpone Dhanush’s film to the Diwali window instead. If the plan materializes, OM could reportedly move to an early November release, allowing both films to enjoy separate festive weekends. However, there has been no official confirmation from either camp regarding these developments.
Meanwhile, Jailer 2 continues to generate excitement with reports claiming that Hrithik Roshan has completed filming his special appearance alongside Rajinikanth. The film also features a star-studded ensemble, including Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa, Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, SJ Suryah, Vijay Sethupathi, Mithun Chakraborty, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Santhanam, and several others.
OM, meanwhile, marks Dhanush’s first collaboration with director Rajkumar Periasamy and boasts an impressive cast featuring Sreeleela, Sai Pallavi, Mammootty, and Indrans in pivotal roles. Produced under the Wunderbar Films banner in association with R Take Studios, the film remains one of the most awaited releases of the year. Until an official announcement is made, the reported release date changes remain speculative.
