Rajkumar Hirani and JioHotstar join hands for Pritam and Pedro

Rajkumar Hirani is all set to make his much-awaited streaming debut with Pritam and Pedro, which is scheduled to premiere on July 3 exclusively on JioHotstar. The project marks an exciting collaboration between one of India’s most celebrated storytellers and the country’s leading streaming platform.

Directed by Avinash Arun, the series promises a unique blend of humour, warmth, emotions, and mystery. Rajkumar Hirani also shared his thoughts on the project and revealed that he has always enjoyed stories where completely different personalities are forced to come together in unexpected situations. According to him, Pritam and Pedro explores humour, chaos, warmth, and emotional relationships through its central characters.

The filmmaker further explained that the streaming format allowed the team to spend more time developing the characters and their journeys. He described the experience of creating long-format content as exciting and refreshing.
