Santhosh Narayanan opens up about collaborating with Sivakarthikeyan in Seyon
Santhosh Narayanan shares excitement about composing for Seyon, praising Sivakarthikeyan’s journey while the RKFI-backed film, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, prepares to begin shooting soon.

Music composer Santhosh Narayanan has shared his excitement about working on Seyon, the upcoming film starring Sivakarthikeyan, describing the collaboration as long overdue. The composer revealed that their creative association made both of them wonder why they had not joined hands earlier despite several opportunities in the past.
Speaking about the project, Santhosh Narayanan noted that discussions to collaborate had previously taken place during films such as Remo and Maaveeran, but the plans did not materialize at the time. With Seyon, however, the long-awaited partnership has finally come together, and the composer believes the film will offer audiences a memorable musical and cinematic experience.
Highlighting his personal connection with Sivakarthikeyan, Santhosh Narayanan emphasized the strong bond they share and reflected on witnessing the actor’s growth over the years. He praised Sivakarthikeyan’s journey in the industry, stating that the actor successfully challenged the long-held perception that television personalities could not achieve major success in mainstream cinema.
Seyon, which marks Sivakarthikeyan’s 26th film, will be directed by Thaai Kizhavi fame Sivakumar Murugesan. The project is being produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), adding significant industry attention to the venture.
The film’s shoot is expected to commence this month. Actress Bhagyashri Borse is reportedly in talks to play the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan, though an official confirmation from the makers is awaited. With a promising creative team and growing anticipation, Seyon is shaping up to be one of the notable upcoming projects in Sivakarthikeyan’s lineup.
