Jiiva, Rajesh and Yuvan Shankar Raja reunite for new movie Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan

Actor Jiiva has officially joined hands with director Rajesh for a new film titled Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan, marking a much awaited reunion that has already sparked excitement among fans. The project also brings back composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, reuniting the trio after their hugely popular collaboration in Siva Manasula Sakthi.

The title was revealed through a fun-filled promotional video released on Jiiva’s birthday, which quickly grabbed attention on social media. Shot in Dubai, the announcement video featured Jiiva, Rajesh, and Yuvan Shankar Raja in a light-hearted setting, offering a nostalgic throwback to their earlier collaboration while hinting at the film’s lively tone.

The makers have clarified that Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan (JIO) is not a sequel to Siva Manasula Sakthi, but it will carry a similar spirit rooted in humor, romance, and emotional moments. The film is expected to be a refreshing entertainer that balances fun with heartfelt storytelling, staying true to Rajesh’s signature style.

Produced by Dato Abdul Malik under the Malik Streams Corporation banner, the film is currently in production. The technical team includes M Sukumar as cinematographer and Ashish Joseph as editor, with Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music. The announcement video also featured a brief appearance by Sudhakar of Parithabangal fame.

For Jiiva, Jolliya Iruntha Oruthan marks his 47th film as a lead actor. With nostalgia driving anticipation and a proven creative combination coming together once again, the film has already emerged as one of the more eagerly awaited projects in Kollywood.
