In the past few days, strong industry buzz suggests that Lokesh Kanagaraj may soon collaborate with Allu Arjun for his next directorial venture. The filmmaker has reportedly revived his long-planned project Irumbu Kai Mayavi, which previously did not materialise with Suriya and was later shelved after Aamir Khan stepped away from the idea post Coolie.

According to the latest reports, Lokesh has now narrated the Irumbu Kai Mayavi script to Allu Arjun, who is said to have been highly impressed with the film’s ambitious, futuristic concept. If discussions move forward positively, the project is expected to go on floors in 2026, backed by Mythri Movie Makers.
