Kalyani Priyadarshan headlines Potential Studios’ seventh production!

Potential Studios has begun work on its seventh feature film, expanding its impressive lineup of acclaimed titles such as Maya, Maanagaram, Monster, Taanakkaran, Irugapatru, and Black. The new project, yet to be titled, features celebrated national sensation Kalyani Priyadarshan, known for her impactful performance in Lokah, in the lead role.

Joining her are seasoned performers Devadarshini and Vinoth Kishan, the latter widely appreciated for his striking presence in Naan Mahaan Alla. The film is directed by Thiraviyam SN, making his debut with a narrative backed by a strong ensemble cast and a collaborative creative team.

The screenplay and dialogues are jointly crafted by Pravin Bhasker, Sree Kumar, and the director himself, promising a grounded and engaging storytelling approach. Music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, while Gokul Benoy handles the cinematography, bringing visual depth to the film. The technical crew also includes Aral R. Thangam as editor, Mayapandi as production designer, and costume designers Inaz Farhan and Sher Ali, collectively shaping the film’s aesthetic identity.

Produced by SR Prakash Babu, SR Prabu, P Gopinath, and Thangaprabaharan R under the Potential Studios banner, the project commenced today in Chennai with a traditional pooja ceremony, officially marking the start of production.
