Chiyaan 63 gets a new director: Shanthi Talkies announces Bodi Rajkumar to helm the movie

The much-awaited update for Chiyaan Vikram fans has finally arrived! The actor’s next venture, tentatively titled Chiyaan 63, is officially set to be directed by Bodi Rajkumar, marking his debut in feature film making. The project, backed by Shanthi Talkies, was initially announced with Mandela and Maaveeran fame Madonne Ashwin at the helm. However, the makers have now confirmed a change in direction, with Bodi Rajkumar taking over.

Bodi Rajkumar, an emerging filmmaker known for his critically acclaimed short films – two of which have won awards and is now stepping into the big league with this prestigious project. His fresh directorial perspective is expected to bring a distinct narrative tone to the film.

While the production house has yet to officially reveal the cast and crew, reports suggest that Meenakshi Chaudhary and Sathyaraj are likely to play key roles alongside Vikram. Also, the film’s music is said to be composed by Amrit Ramnath, who previously made an impressive debut with Shanthi Talkies’ 3BHK.

With pre-production in its final stages, the shoot of Chiyaan 63 is expected to commence soon, marking the beginning of one of the most anticipated Tamil film collaborations in recent times. As fans eagerly await more details, Chiyaan 63 promises to combine the intensity of Vikram’s performances with a new director’s creative vision making it a project to watch out for in the coming months.
