Abishan Jeevinth’s upcoming film sells OTT rights to Netflix even before title reveal

The yet-untitled film starring Abishan Jeevinth, best known for directing the acclaimed entertainer Tourist Family, has already captured industry attention: despite the absence of a title, first look, or teaser. The project, which completed filming in mid-October, has reportedly been acquired by Netflix, making it one of the most-talked-about upcoming Tamil releases in the digital space.

The film is jointly produced by Magesh Raj of MRP Entertainment, known for Tourist Family, Good Night, and Lover – and Soundarya Rajinikanth under her banner Zion Films. This collaboration marks a significant partnership between two creative forces known for backing fresh, content-driven cinema. The project is said to feature an engaging storyline with a vibrant cast and crew, though specific details remain closely guarded.

Joining Abishan in the lead is Anaswara Rajan, the popular Malayalam actress and youth sensation who is fast emerging as one of South Indian cinema’s most promising talents. Directed by debutante Madhan, the film also boasts a strong technical crew, featuring music by Sean Roldan, cinematography by Shreyaas Krishna, editing by Suresh Kumar, and art direction by Rajkamal, ensuring a top-tier production quality that complements its fresh and dynamic narrative.

In a touching gesture, producer Magesh Raj gifted a BMW car to filmmaker turned actor Abishan Jeevinth as a wedding present, commemorating both the film’s completion and Abishan’s upcoming marriage. The talented young director, now stepping into the shoes of a lead actor, is set to tie the knot on October 31st.

With Netflix onboard as the streaming partner and Zion Films adding star power to the production, expectations are high for this exciting new venture.
