NEEK fame Pavish signs new romantic comedy with debut Director Magesh Rajendran

Actor Pavish, who gained visibility with his role in Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK) directed by Dhanush, has officially signed on for a fresh project directed by newcomer Magesh Rajendran. The film, at this stage untitled, was launched ceremonially by veteran filmmaker Kasthuri Raja, with popular director Selvaraghavan clapping the board symbolically to mark the beginning of production.

The story introduces digital creator Naga Durga in a substantial role, who is also reportedly making her Telugu cinema debut with this film. Described as a “breezy romantic entertainer,” the narrative aims to strike a balance between tradition and modern sensibilities, appealing to both Gen Z audiences and family viewers alike.

Behind the camera, the technical credentials include cinematography by PG Muthaiah, editing by NB Srikanth, and art direction by Magendran. The music department will introduce emerging talents under the guidance of the production house. The project is being backed by Zinema Media & Entertainment Ltd and co-produced by Dhananjeyan, under the banner of Creative Entertainers & Distributors.

With shooting officially underway and a dynamic young cast at the forefront, this film is shaping up as one of the more promising romantic entertainers to watch in the coming year.
