Inban Udhayanidhi to reportedly make acting debut with Mari Selvaraj’s Next

Reports suggest Inban Udhayanidhi is likely to make his acting debut in Mari Selvaraj’s next film, post-Bison.

Inban Udhayanidhi, son of actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin and grandson of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, is reportedly preparing to make his debut as a lead actor. According to industry sources, Inban is in talks to star in director Mari Selvaraj’s upcoming film, which is expected to begin production after the release of Bison and Mari Selvaraj’s next project with Dhanush.

Though there’s been no official confirmation, speculation intensified after visuals of Inban attending acting workshops and training sessions surfaced online. The 20 year-old recently took charge of Red Giant Movies, the production house founded by his father, signaling a deeper foray into Tamil cinema, not just as a producer, but potentially as an actor.

Mari Selvaraj previously collaborated with Udhayanidhi Stalin for the critically acclaimed Maamannan in 2023, a film that marked Udhayanidhi’s final acting role before stepping into full-time politics. With Inban stepping into the spotlight, the legacy seems set to continue on screen.

Meanwhile, Mari Selvaraj is gearing up for the release of Bison, a kabaddi-based sports drama starring Dhruv Vikram. The film is slated to hit theatres on October 17th and will clash with Pradeep Ranganathan’s Dude and Harish Kalyan’s Diesel.
