Vijay Deverakonda thanks Suriya for lending his voice to Kingdom teaser
At the pre-release event of the anticipated film Kingdom, actor Vijay Deverakonda shared a heartfelt anecdote that left fans applauding both his humility and Suriya’s generosity.
Taking the stage, Vijay revealed that it was his director’s wish for Suriya to lend his voice to the teaser. However, VD admitted that he was reluctant to ask for such a favor.
“My director wanted Suriya Anna’s voice for the teaser,” Vijay said. “But I don’t like asking for favors. I unwillingly asked Suriya Anna and even told him to feel free to say no. But instead, he said he’d do it for me.”
The crowd erupted in cheers at the story, reflecting the admiration shared by fans for both stars. Vijay also took a moment to publicly thank Suriya, saying, “I’ve to thank Suriya Anna, as he released and dubbed for Kingdom’s teaser. It means a lot.”
