Romance meets action in First Look of SJ Suryah’s Killer
After a 10-year hiatus from direction, SJ Suryah is back at the helm with Killer, a romantic thriller in which he also plays the lead. The film marks his first directorial venture since Isai (2015). Preethi Asrani, known for Ayothi, stars opposite him in her first collaboration with Suryah.
The makers released the first look posters on Saturday. One shows Suryah in a black suit carrying Asrani over his shoulder while aiming a gun, as she holds roses, hinting at a stylish blend of romance and action. Another poster shows him holding a rifle in a sleek assassin look.
Suryah describes Killer as a “James Bond kind of film with elements of Kushi.” With music composed by AR Rahman, the film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
Backed by Sree Gokulam Movies and co-produced by Suryah’s Angel Studios, Killer is currently under production. Meanwhile, he also has Indian 3, Love Insurance Kompany, and Sardar 2 in the pipeline.
