When Thanu requested Rajamouli to collaborate with Vijay
Speaking at the Tamil audio launch of Baahubali: The Conclusion in Chennai, producer Kalaipuli S Thanu said a few years back he requested director SS Rajamouli to collaborate with Ilayathalapathy Vijay.
“I requested Rajamouli a few years back to work with Vijay. He said he already has two projects and assured that he will definitely work in the future,” said Thanu.
An emotional Rajamouli said, “I used to cycle my way here to YMCA Ground from KK Nagar back in 1992. Now, the audio launch of my film is happening here. I’m feeling quite emotional and falling short of words.”
The second instalment of Baahubali series is all set to hit screens on April 28th worldwide. The TN rights of the film have been secured by KN Rajarajan of K Productions.
