“Vijay Sethupathi looks like Vijayakanth Sir,” says Sethupathi director

Director Arun Kumar, who made the pleasing Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum, is back with his second outing Sethupathi which is currently under the post production stage. “Sethupathi is an out and out action film with realistic elements. There are five songs in the film but all are shot as montages. There are nearly seven fight sequences in the story. Each fight will move the story forward,” says Arun Kumar.

“I can say that Vijay Sethupathi looks like Vijayakanth Sir in the film. That’s how he looks apt for this role. If you see Vijayakanth Sir, we get a feeling like he’s our area inspector. You will get the same feeling when you see watch Vijay Sethupathi don khakhi,” Arun adds.

The makers are planning to release the movie in February. The audio composed by Nivas Prasanna is expected to release sometime later this month. Set in the backdrop of Madurai, Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as a Law and Order inspector in the film and the film is scheduled to hit the screens worldwide on Feb 19th!
