Vignesh Shivan pens lyrics for AR Rahman
Writer-director Vignesh Shivan, who has penned chart-busters including Adhaaru Udhaaru and a handful of songs in Naanum Rowdy Thaan, has collaborated for the first time with AR Rahman for the Showkali track in Simbu-Gautham Menon’s Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada.
The song teaser of Showkali will be unveiled by the team today. “This teaser is the first in the official count down to the album’s audio release very soon. The showkali teaser will release tomorrow (5.5.2016) at 6 PM. Showkali is written by Vignesh Shivan, ADK & Sri Raskol & the song is sung by Aditya Rao with he rap portions belted out by ADK & Sri Raskol,” posted GVM’s Ondraaga Entertainment.
