Velaikkaran TN theatrical rights sold for a whopping Rs. 37 crores
The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran is valued at approximately Rs. 37 crores, which is almost close to the final lifetime share of his previous outing Remo.
The movie will have to gross nearly Rs. 75+ crores to be a profitable venture for distributors in Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, the latest update from the team is that the North India rights have been bagged by Shringar Films.
Directed by Mohan Raja, Velaikkaran is all set to hit screens on December 22nd alongside Santhanam’s Sakka Podu Podu Raja.
