Thaarai Thappattai: Bala not happy with Sasikumar?

There are speculations in the tinsel town that director Bala is not happy with Sasikumar’s looks for his upcoming film Thaarai Thappattai. Apparently, Sasikumar shot for few days with his trademark beard for the film. Not contented with the look, Bala wanted to try a different makeover and brainstormed with his stylist but in vain. Later, they decide to have a lengthy, bushy beard for Sasikumar for the film.

“It’s just a trial shoot. Bala sir usually does a trial shoot before getting on to film the real scene. Otherwise, there is no truth in the reports,” says a source close to the film’s unit. Thaarai Thappattai marks Ilaiyaraja’s 1000th film in the industry and has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar playing the female lead.
