Taapsee joins Jai – Thiru’s next
After Trisha backed out from the project, Taapsee Pannu has been roped in to play the lead heroine in Jai’s upcoming project with director Thiru. Taapsee plays the role of a village belle in Kumbakonam. The shooting will commence in the last week of April in Kumbakonam.
Produced by Sushanth Prasad of Film Department and Varun Manian of Radiance Media, this yet-untitled film also has another female lead which the team has not finalized yet. It has music scored by Thaman.
