Sun TV on a buying spree; acquires TSK, Vivegam, Singam 3 & Sivakarthikeyan’s next
Market leader Sun TV is on a buying spree. After a gap, the leading GEC has upped the ante in acquiring the satellite rights of Tamil films, thanks to their newly-launched OTT platform Sun Nxt.
They have now procured the broadcast and digital rights for Singam 3, Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, Vivegam and Sivakarthikeyan’s untitled next with Vignesh Shivan.

However, it’s yet to know whether the recent acquisitions of Sun TV for its digital platform Sun Nxt are exclusive or non-exclusive. Since Singam 3 is also available on Amazon Prime Video, they have snapped it on a non-exclusive basis.
