Sun Pictures likely to produce Vijay – AR Murugadoss’ next

Reports are rife that Lyca Productions, which was earlier said to be the producer of Vijay’s next project Vijay 62 with ace filmmaker AR Murugadoss, has opted out for reasons best known to the team.

Now, Sun Pictures, which ruled the roost few years back and almost enjoyed a monopoly in Tamil film distribution business, is in the running to bankroll the project, whose budget is pegged at more than Rs. 100 crores. An official confirmation is awaited on this regard.
