Never-seen-before stylish Ajith in Thala 55

One of the very few films always stay in the limelight without any official press statements or marketing gimmickry. Ajith and Gautham Menon’s Thala 55 is one such film which painstakingly keeps both the print and online media up on their toes for updates. Here are few exclusive updates shared about Thala Ajith’s working routine in the Tamil Hindu where they managed to get talking to a crew member of Thala 55

•  The day shooting for Thala 55 started, we were very conscious about fans gathering in shooting spots, which would disturb the general populace. So, we took extreme care about the shooting locations. Even the art director will get to know about the location only a day before the shoot
• Ajith has toned his body a lot for this film. He will look slim and tender on screen, a notch above what you saw in Arrambam. He did not resort to steroids or any unhealthy practices (injections) to shape his body but simple regular exercises with a firm determination is what he followed to reduce his weight
• There is an exclusive caravan for Ajith sir but he uses it only for changing his costumes. He always stays with crew members.  He even lunches with us, not in his caravan. There is a similarity to Rajinikanth in Ajith’s behaviour. People say Rajinikanth never uses his caravan except for changing costumes. It’s the same here with Ajith too
• We shot a nail-biting car chase scene in Mount Road where Ajith had to drive a Maruthi car. Others in his position would have made a fuss about it. He never frowned and helped us finish the scene and co-operated really well
• You will see a never-seen-before stylish and suave Ajith in Thala 55. Nearly 50% of the shoot is already over. Trisha, Ajith, Baby Anikha and Devi Ajith are part of the current schedule
